The LAW YEARBOOK OF CHINA, a comprehensive book authored and pubilished annually by the law authorities of China, is an indispendible tool for legal professionals, students, scholars and people dealing with China in any capacity to understand and study the China's Legal System.
The Yearbook focuses on legislation and justice and reflects the general situation of China's Legal System. It covers such areas as the law-making, law enforcement, legal publicity and education, and research on theories of legal sciences. All materials appeared in the Yearbook were provided by related government organizations so that the content was complete, accurate and authoritative.
The Law Yearbook of China was first published in 1987 and now is in its 18 consecutive volumes. The English version of the book was first published in 2002. The Law Yearbook of China (English Version 2003 - 2004) mainly reflects the situation in 2003, carrying work reports of the Standing Committee of the National People Congress, the Central Government of China, the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procurator, as well as all the laws adopted by the National People's Congress and its Standing Committee from 2002-2003.
