Description
China Statistical Yearbook for Regional Economy is a massive statistical publication, comprehensively describing China’s regional economy and social development status. This yearbook has collected major social and economic indicators of China in 2006. There are indicators at national and provincial levels – including 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities; indicators of 2,000 counties including cities at county level. Specifically, it contains such aspects as national conditions, population and employment, national accounts, investment in fixed assets, government finance, price indices, agriculture, industry, construction, transportation, postal and telecommunications, domestic trade and foreign trade, public health, social welfare, science and education. Statistical data of Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan Province is also included in this book.
All figures listed in this yearbook are from yearly statistical reports at all governmental levels or related sampling surveys, so the figures are full, accurate and comparable.
